DJ Protman

Protman is an electronic musician and producer known for blending atmospheric soundscapes, deep basslines, and emotive melodies. Starting his career in the late 90s, Joe quickly gained attention for his innovative use of technology in electronic music. He integrates gamepads as MIDI controllers during live performances, offering a unique, real-time manipulation of sounds.

He is skilled in software like Puredata, MaxMSP, and mod trackers, which he uses to create intricate, non-traditional soundscapes. His music is inspired by nature, featuring field recordings, and influenced by the rave and techno scenes of the 90s and 2000s.

Protman also runs the “Iron Chef of Music” remix contest, where participants have two hours to create music from unconventional samples. Additionally, he was a member of the Chicago-based band K-RAD, known for combining electronic music with live instrumentation and energetic performances.

The Fickle Souls

Straight from the mountains of North Carolina, the now Tampa based acoustic folk/indie duo, The Fickle Souls are sure to bring a foot stomping good time. The duo consists of husband and wife, Cal (Vocals, Guitar, and “The Suitcase Drum”) and Hannah Olivier (Vocals, Ukulele, Harmonium, and Percussion).

CopperWing Band

Born out of the quiet days of 2020, CopperWing is a true success story of music bringing people together. With live shows on pause, founding members Tim Griffin (guitar), Robert Stephens (bass), and Joey Valdez (drums) began jamming at Masterpeace Studios in Tampa, Florida. By the fall of that year, CopperWing hit the stage as a three-piece act—and quickly started building a loyal following.

Today, CopperWing has grown into a dynamic five-piece band featuring Tim Griffin (guitar/vocals), Robert Stephens (bass/vocals), Ferdinand Bannister (saxophone/flute), Dave Hummistan (drums), and Robert Wegman (guitar/vocals). Together, they create a full, versatile sound that blends groove-driven rhythms with blues and jazz improvisation.

Known as a fan favorite across the Tampa Bay area, CopperWing delivers an eclectic mix of Funk, R&B, Reggae, Classic Rock, and Old School Rock & Roll—music that gets every crowd moving. With a lineup that includes dual guitars, bass, drums, sax, and flute, their performances balance tight musicianship with soulful energy.

Since their start, CopperWing has been performing steadily at top Tampa Bay venues including the Tampa Convention Center, International Beer Garten, The Salty Shamrock, O’Briens Irish Pub, Riveter’s, and many more. Whether rocking a festival stage, energizing a club, or setting the mood for a private event, CopperWing brings professionalism, passion, and the kind of live experience audiences remember.

Smoove Jams

Two residents of Tampa Bay, Smoove Jams is a duo consisting of primary members, Jamal Hasan on saxophone, and Mwiza on vocals and guitar.

Smoove Jams brings forth an Indie sound that encapsulates Jazz, R&B, Folk, and Rock tones for an alternative resonance all their own. Their musical musings are heart-led, yet upbeat, with new twists to well-known trendy beats to quench the thirst of those who seek music with meaning that seems new, yet familiar.

Jofurky

In a world saturated with noise, Jofurky cuts through the static with purpose. The new moniker
from the respected producer and Red Bull Music Academy alumnus known for his work as
Protman and K-Rad, Jofurky is an evolution of sound and intent. While the intricate, tracker-
based programming that defined his previous work is still at the core, it’s now supercharged with
a new level of melodic intensity and driven by vocal hooks that demand attention.
This is music with a mission. Each beat and sample is meticulously crafted to champion a plant-
based lifestyle and advocate for environmental stewardship, inspiring positive change for the
planet and its inhabitants. Live, Jofurky delivers a visceral experience that is both a nod to the
golden era of underground electronics and a bold step forward. It’s a call to the dancefloor and a
call to action—proof that you can move your feet and move the world at the same time.
