All films will be at the Tampa Bay History Center

There will be TWO themes for film showings this year! One is PlantPure Nation.

Theme 1: Starting at 11:00 a.m., Manuela Baron, known as The Girl Gone Green, will be leading a discussion on being Zero Waste. Manuela is an environmentalist based in Tampa Bay. With a social media community of over 50,000, she shares her message of sustainability and conscious living. After her Tedx talk on Zero Waste, Manuela created an online platform to be able to unite eco-minded individuals around the globe. Through this and her YouTube channel, she shares her knowledge and personal tips to help others to become more aware of their contribution to the world-wide waste issue. Locally she’s a member of Zero Waste Tampa Bay and Suncoast Rise Above Plastics Coalition.
